Article Processing Charges

Open access publishing proposes a relatively new model for scholarly journal publishing that provides immediate, worldwide, barrier-free access to the full-text of all published articles. Open access allows all interested readers to view, download, print, and redistribute any article without a subscription, enabling far greater distribution of an author’s work than the traditional subscription-based publishing model. Many authors in a variety of fields have begun to realize the benefits that open access publishing can provide in terms of increasing the impact of their work.

Articles that are accepted for publication incur Article Processing Charges (APC).

Unlike traditional publishers, Open Access publishers (free to access, read and print)– like Journal of Science and Technology– do not generate revenue from selling subscriptions. Instead, we make all of our articles freely available. Therefore, like other Open Access publishers, Journal of Science and Technology charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) once an article is accepted for publication.

No submission charges

Journal of Science and Technology do not charge any fee for submission of articles. APCs only apply to accepted articles and there are no other hidden charges for publishing.

If an author has inability to pay APC, we assist the authors with waivers in APCs. The authors based in the World Bank list of low income and lower-middle-income countries are eligible for a fee waiver.

There are no charges for rejected article, and no surcharges based on the figures or supplementary data.

The authors of accepted articles are requested to pay the Article Processing Charges according to following list:
